Just recently, the Moving Masters team completed an Ophthalmology Department relocation of a large local health provider in Washington, DC. Ophthalmology concerns the anatomy, physiology, and diseases of the eye. While ophthalmologists perform serious operations on the eyes, they have various sensitive equipment that must be handled carefully, especially during a move.
Some of the equipment involved in the move were exam chairs, biomicroscopes, which is a microscope used for examining the eye more closely, tonometers, used for measuring the pressure surrounding the eyeball, refractors, phoropters, an instrument for evaluation of vision that’s positioned in front of the patient, retinal cameras, ophthalmic ultrasounds, instruments tables, and so on.
After mapping out a schedule for the relocation, our team went straight to work, carefully moving and organizing everything in its new location.
