Getting started
Our team will begin by protecting your office. This helps keep the walls and floors safe while they are working. Next, they’ll start bringing in packing materials like cartons, tape, and packing paper. They are able to work quickly because there will be 1-2 people stationed throughout each room working systematically. Each box gets labeled systematically with the area it came from and the contents inside to make unpacking at the new office easier.
Prior to packing day, it’s important that you work with your employees to make the executive decision on what stays, goes, or gets tossed. This allows them to do their job as quickly and efficiently as possible because emotions about deciding which files need to be tossed won’t play a part in the packing process.
Supervise the process
Yes, you are paying for the packers to do all the work – but it’s important to be present in case there are any questions. To keep from interrupting employees at work, it’s best to complete the packing outside of business hours or ask that employees work remote.
At the end of the day, it’s your responsibility to make sure everything has been packed prior to releasing the packing team. Walk through your office with one of our team members, open every cabinet, drawer, and closet. Once the team has been released it’s your responsibility to make sure any unpacked items make it to your next destination.

In order to get the most out of your packing experience, prepare a few days prior and label items that are fragile, staying, going, or need to be packed in the same box. You also may want to label items by department so the movers know what area they should be placed.
